Question : Coach. With game day preparation, you know, you get to speak with your captains. What's been so special about this captains group this season coming up to game week?

Answer : "You know, I think of those four guys and the leadership they've displayed throughout the whole year, throughout the winter, the spring and the summer, fall camp, you know, the opportunity for me to meet with them. Each week we have the checklist. We have a checklist of things that we go over from the previous week and for the upcoming game.

But you never know when there's going to be a huge decision, like, are we going to play in a bowl game or, you know, hey, following the laws, what do we need to do? What are you feeling from the locker room and things like that? But, um, you know, I've just been proud of the way they've led. Like that's their number one responsibility is to to be great leaders. Right.

If you've been voted captain, your team has voted you to lead them. And that's their their most important responsibility. It's not statistics.

It's not anything. It is leading and to to make the people you lead better. And I'm extremely proud of the way they've done that."

Two-questions : Talk about what you saw from your defense teammates today
and what was working for you as a whole as an offense today?

Answer : Yeah, the defense, you know, like we talked about, Adon starting off with an unbelievable turnover and scoop and score from Bogb and then King came up with a bunch of big plays for us, turnovers all over the place. So, super excited to see those guys continue to just dominate on the field and then from the offense, again, thought we were really consistent and played really good, you know, complimentary football.
And so wins, you know, has a great kind of stop route on the left side to start us off and then takes it one deep later. And super exciting to see that guy come up with some huge plays. And your line has given you a ton of protection, really since the second half last week in Green Bay.

Question :  What's the team chemistry been like on the defense this season so far?

Answer : The chemistry has been great. I mean, we do a lot of things outside of the facility. So I feel like that allows us to create a bond and just at the end of the day, like whenever we step on the field, we know we're playing for each other. So I feel like that helps a lot.

Question : Obviously when the ball came out and you ran and scored,
what was going through your mind when you saw the ball was loose?

Answer : I was just, I seen the ball on the ground. And I was like, wow. Like it kind of felt like a dream,
but as soon as I picked it up, I knew it was real life.

Notre Dame Quaterback CJ Carr completed 16 of 20 passes for 253 yards and four touchdowns in Notre Dame's 52-0 victory on Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium
