Question : this was obviously a battle tonight today close game what was the biggest thing you learned individually and as a team overcoming this one tonight?

Answer : Are you know, we like adversity? You know, coming here DC and in a jam with our home fans. You know, we knew it was going to be tough. It was going to be easy. No, but we also knew we needed this man. You know, we want to get ranked and we you know we want to be taken seriously. So, like Coach said we'd be the ACC team tied to our team and our biggest team.
So you know, this gives us great momentum. You know, we got another one Tuesday and then going into conference and we're going through.

Opening Statement

We'll start with an opening statement and then read the questions. Well, obviously it's a great way to get to for a number of reasons obviously at Georgetown, we know the history we know I feel some of our nominees what they've done and what this means and, and then obviously excited about playing in the Capital One center, and then you know, eating up the big challenge, a big 12 challenge that was important. To us and then just win another game on the stretch of you know, we really set this down we looked at and we said, we can certainly go get a PAC 12 win and SEC win and win straight, three, three games that straight so we did a lot of those things and with that said, both teams I played really good. He made it really hard. They made tough threes. We said we won, we hope to five they had eight. That's why they're able to stay in it because of how well they shoot the ball. Obviously carrying rice but great wind for and we're just getting better young group that's getting better.
You know, obviously a lot on new group made good progress and especially these last couple of weeks.
Question : Coach  just mentioned that this group is really young. And you know, there was a lot of history with Georgetown how proud of you of the focus of this team with despite any distractions?

Answer : Yeah, I mean you know, it's still some decisions down the stretch. But I thought and preparation was was very good and you know, it kind of tough. I wouldn't have liked to have played this game. You know, we have finals yesterday. We had to leave late. You know, we have finals going on now. And this isn't the date we'd like to play, but it was what we were made to play and, but our focus was good. We changed around our routine. We actually had to do a cut of our scouting report prior to when we normally do it as we were in a rush to get here and obviously in early early games, so but I did they, they, they did a good job. And I walked through we did some in like in the hotel room today. And the hotel, put some tape on it. So I thought that was good. And but I think we really, like really emphasize these three games was giving us an opportunity to get a PAC 12 A big 12 I mean, sec and then and then, and then the biggies and you know I don't think too many teams did that this week. And so did go and do that. I think it was really a goal for us and and they really, obviously stepped up to the task. So it was just a great win for our program.
