About Us
Why We Started BURG SportsNetwork:
Our goal is to provide sports highlights for any fans of Loudoun County sports who are able to attend the games, and also for those who are not able to attend. We want those who are unable to attend to be able experience the sporting events as if they were actually there. We also want to help players and coaches share their athletic experiences and endeveours with their communitites. We also plan to keep up with student-athletes who are alumni of both Loudoun County and Fairfax County schools, so we can all follow them throughout their careers.
About Our Founder:
Michael Ferrara is a sports videographer with years of experience covering high school athletics in Loudoun County. Michael was the manager of the Heritage High School junior varisty baseball team in 2008. In addition, he was the manager of the Heritage varsity baseball team in 2009, 2010, and 2011. During his senior year at Heritage, Michael was the videographer for the varsity football team. On top of his athletic extracurriculars, Michael attended Monroe Tech where he studied videography and photography. After graduating from Heritage, Michael attended NVCC to study multimedia design. In addition Michael was a 2022, 2023, & 2024. Best on Loudoun Nominee for Best Photographer and He also an award winning Photographer/Videographer winning a Telly in 2022 & 2023
