Question : Rachel, just a couple of questions for me. For you, you know, growing up who was your biggest mentor growing up who was your biggest support grown up?

Answer : I mean, definitely goes to my parents in my early coaches and softball. I hear myself saying things that they said to me you know, back then, and being hard on guys the way that they were hard on me and I had parents and also early coaches early on that really pushed us and myself extremely hard, but also showed incredible support.
So it was it was a lot of, Hey, these are high expectations, but also I'm going to help you get there & I'm gonna, I'm gonna be with you every step of the way. And hopefully that's reflected in my own coaching.

Question : So, for your coaching style, whether softball or baseball, who did you admire growing up?

Answer : I would say like just the coaches that I've that I've drawn from the most in my professional career have been answered Dorrance, who's the UNC women's soccer coach, Tim Corbin more recently having some conversations with him. Vanderbilt is an absolutely a wizard with culture. And then I would say, you know, going back to my strength conditioning based coach Tommy Moffett, and was it more at LSU Absolutely, electric, cutthroat, high expectation environment and SEC LSU definitely forged me as a coach when I was first getting into my career.

Question :  Jasson is one of the biggest prospects you know, these are a lot of young guys for other than Jason, who should Yankee fans keep an eye on?

Answer : it really great question. I mean, I love I love some of Bassett grant Richardson is putting together it's kind of a guy who maybe doesn't get get his due and he's got an incredible amount of pot. So I would just, you know, keep an eye out for him. He doesn't always get talked about a lot but I definitely like what he's doing.

Question : Jasson What what is surprised you about him and then for, you know, for the young women and little girls who want to do what you're doing or just do anything in a sport, what advice would you want to get them?

Answer : With Jasson I find myself always saying that's what's the most surprising is how, how much of a leader he's turning into at such a young age. You know, he's always coaching other guys he's picking guys up he's he's definitely somebody who's going to be an incredible leader in the future and especially on young age, it's amazing to have that level of maturity even though you know you can be polished in some areas, but but that's always what I am most surprised. That is how, how he acts off the field. And then what would I say to young women and girls is you know, in my opinion, being an underdog is an advantage being being held back. Having some kind of adversity in your life is an advantage if you choose it, you know, choose that perspective. So if you're going through something tough or if as a as a young woman, you're being told no because of your gender, then you just look at that person and say thank you just use that, you know, and in the future, you're gonna look back and be glad that you know your road wasn't as smooth as other people. Alright, well, thank you.

What's it like having her as your manager?

Answer : Oh, wow. That's, I mean, I feel proud to be a Yankee. And I feel proud to be in her team. You know, it's part of the history and she's amazing. She's one of the greatest person I made before and all my life and I just feel wow, like, it's incredible.
