Question : Talk about the fan factor out there today?
Answer : I loved it. I mean, obviously, you know, whenever you can play like on a Friday night for a football game, we always tend to get a great crowd. I think we have such an exciting team that, like, you know, I hope people just keep coming back out because, I mean, they're a group of women that I think are fun to watch, and you know, I think it's great when they get to play in front of a packed house like that.
Question : And you guys had some adversity, and obviously you scored early, and then Clemson scored, and then came back. Talk about the adversity of your team tonight?
Answer : And that, yeah, and it's kind of been the the theme of the season. Like we've had so many injuries, and we've had so many things. Kind of like you can kind of feel sorry for yourself, and think they you know shouldn't have gone it this way or that way, and they just keep responding, and they just keep grinding, and and that was like a microcosm of just like the you know I think the resilience that they really show.
Question : obviously, you know, working for one of the top universities for Notre Dame, what's it like to have the resources here at Notre Dame and to play in the ACC?
Answer : I mean, it's it's unreal. Like this is surreal for me. Like not only because it's an awesome school and they support you in tremendous ways from a resource and facility standpoint, but I went here and it's such a special place for me, and I was able to grow so much as a person. And I mean, it literally is like it's a dream job. And sometimes I gotta like take a second and be like, I can't believe that I get a chance to to work at this place and get to live life with these amazing young women.
Question : What was going through your mind, durning the game-winning goal was was a penalty kick?
Answer : Yeah, relief. I mean, you're just you're sitting there and you're you're hoping that you know that that ball hits the back of the net. But I think PK is like, yeah, they're a little bit of a, yeah. I think it's something like 70 something percent go in and you know, and you're just kind of hoping that you know that's that's one of the ones that you know going at that point. But it was a relief for sure when that that ball hit the back of the net.
